{Christmas Festivities 2010}

We had a great Christmas weekend. Hope you all did as well!
Friday we got a beautiful snow all day so of course we went out to play just a little...



And then that evening we continued out tradition of making cookies for Santa. BaBeehn and PaPa Beehn joined us this year and we had such a great evening of laughs and lots of love and cuddles with them!

Christmas morning was really nice. The kids woke up around 7:30 and we enjoyed watching them discover what Santa had brought and exchanged gifts to each other. The kids loved their gifts and so did us BIG kids :)



We headed over to Peoria later on Christmas day to celebrate the Goodman Christmas which was a great time of playing with cousins. And the kids got soooooooo many wonderful gifts!

Kris came as well. And brought along the goodies to make his famous peppermint shakes which we all just love!!! I was his assistant this year...:)
So much fun!

We went to the Mahan christmas on Sunday and had a nice time with family.
We spent lots of time with great friends and family this weekend and couldn't have asked for a better holiday!

{Family Portraits 2010}

We went out a few months ago with my friend Brian to take some pictures for our Christmas cards. We had to bribe the kids with a surprise...Luckily the dog showed up at the end and we told them that was their surprise. The owner was very nice and let the kids talk and pet the puppy.

{All School Sing}

Irving school got all the classes together today for the last 45 minutes of the last day of school before Christmas break to sing Christmas carol's. It was so cute. All the kids wore reindeer antlers and sang their little hearts out!

{Christmas Party}

We had Jax Christmas party at school today. Jack is so cute...he is always so excited when I come to his class. He told me he wished I could come to his class everyday. Oh what I'd give to be able to do that!! :)
The kids enjoyed cupcakes and cookies and got a bag of goodies.

{Ava's 1st haircut!!!!} |Proud Mommy Photographer!!!

Ava's hair is constantly in her eyes or stuck to the dried snot under her nose. So we decided it was time to take care of business!
I have a dream of my daughter having beautiful long brown hair. However she has baby fine hair right now and it usually looks so stringy and fuzzy. She won't keep a barrette in for more than 30 seconds so...I decided the little Suri Cruise bob was the way to go. Her cousin Kate used to have her hair like this and I always thought it was so darling.
Ava was such a good girl during her haircut and felt so special as we were hooted and hollerin at her lovely new look!! I think she looks adorable and no more hair in her eyes!!


Almost makes me want to get my haircut like this again...

{Christmas Program}

We got all dressed up for Jax Christmas program at church today. Thankyou to Uncle Randy and Aunt Connie, Uncle Jake, Aunt Stephanie and Emma and Aunt Becky for coming to support Jack! He was so excited that you were there to see him sing. He kept hugging Aunt Connie and smiling real big! She was quick to recieve each and everyone of them. So sweet. Wish we could have gotten a group pic but it was sure crowded on the Sunday before Christmas.
I love this first image of Mark helping him with his tie. It brought tears to my eyes as I envisioned the day he helps him as he prepares to marry the love of his life...

We had to wait for awhile before church started so we took some pictures...


L.O.V.E. this picture of me and my little man!!


It was dark in the gym(for ambiance) so I really didn'y get very good pictures of him actually singing...and he is such a tiny little peanut compared to all the other elementary kids. But he enjoyed himself and we were so proud of him and cheered loudly after he sang. ♥

{A Visit From SANTA}

Santa came for a visit the other evening. The kids were a bit apprehensive when they first saw him. Jack warmed up to him but Ava and Emma didn't really want anything to do with him.
It was a fun night though. The McKees brought pizza and we had a little Santa party. So fun!! We are hoping for this to be a new tradition as long as the kids still believe in Santa...
